Michael is the founder and CEO of Association Activision, a boutique consulting firm. Before that, he served as Executive Director/CEO of the National Association for Music Education and the Give a Note Foundation. Helping others pursue a new career based on their passions and skills—a journey he’s personally traveled—provides him the opportunity to give back.

 As a career coach, recruiter and generational diversity expert, Shira has witnessed highly skilled professionals struggle to secure or re-gain W-2 employment when they reached “a certain stage in life.” Shira co-founded BoomerWorks to inspire and empower professionals age 50+ to shift their mindsets and skill sets into meaningful, alternative employment.
